We have been conducting a unique program for the last 17 years to Recognize, Motivate and Reward the outstanding Teen personalities in Kerala State. The idea is to select students who excel in studies and extracurricular activities through a series of tests.
The Preliminary round written test will be held on Saturday 12th August from 10 to 11.30 am at different centers in Kerala. High school students in the government and private schools (any syllabus) in Kerala can participate. The registration fee is Rs. 40/- per student. To prepare question papers and to conduct final round competitions, Rs 20 per student should be remitted to South India Chapter. Out of the balance 50% (Rs 20/-), it is suggested Rs 10/- to distribute or return to schools as Love Green fund. The district level prize winner (a girl, a boy) will be selected to the final round contest. The winners are eligible for ordinary train/bus fare to participate in the final round competitions, which will be held at Calicut during November. The winners will be awarded cash prizes and certificates.
In the Preliminary stage students have to undergo a written test of objective type questions with multiple choice answers. The medium will be in Malayalam or English. The total time allotted is 90 minutes. There will be an essay & 150 questions from various topics of General awareness, which covers Science, History, Geography, Literature, Art, Culture, Environment, Sports, and Mental ability etc.
Your chapter may entrust secretary or select a member to coordinate the Top teen contest. Please inform the name, address, email id and mob no. of that member. You may conduct the exam in different centers in your area under your member's direct supervision. We will send the sealed question cum answer sheets bundle through professional courier three days before the contest. But you are supposed to open the bundle only just half an hour before the contest. Please inform by 17th of July the number of question papers required by your chapter. As in preceding years chapters will be awarded for maximum number of students' participation. This year we expect 50,000 students participation which was 30,000 last year.
