Dear sir/madam

Sub: 2 nd remainder and invitation for registration and presenting paper in OGYF2019 at Gurunank College 5 th & 6 th December 2019.

Greetings. OISCA (Organization for Industrial Spiritual and Cultural Advancement) is an international, UN recognized NGO, based in Tokyo Japan. OISCA has chapters in many countries in the world. It is a UN assembly approved organization, reaching out to people, inculcating the need for safe and secure mother earth. Their philosophy is sustainable development and growth without jeopardizing the natural resources, water, air forest and agriculture, assuring the well being of the dependent people. India has two major chapters –North India Chapter and South India Chapter. Every year, a Global youth forum (OGYF),is being organized by OISCA international on a most relevant topic, for the benefit people particularly the youth. The oisca south India chapter in Calicut is involved in many ecological and development initiatives. The south India chapter is headed by Mr. Mohan Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Government of Kerala. Oisca has many chapters in Tamilnadu.

In the OISCA board meeting held in Tokyo Japan in 2018, it was decided that this year 2019 the OGYF, the Global Youth Forum, will be held in Chennai. Hence the International conference on "PARTNERSHIP AND OWNERSHIP BUILDING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" is being organised at Gurunanak College Chennai. We expect over 600 delegates from India and other countries to participate in the mega, international conference to be held on 5th and 6th December at Gurunanak College Chennai.

The technical sessions will cover topics relevant to the 17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on Agriculture, forestry, biodiversity water conservation, harnessing youth strength, women empowerment, and convergence of policies legal initiatives, for achievement of SDGs through programmes and innovative interventions by 2030. India is a signatory to UN’s SDG. A program brochure is enclosed for your kind reference. The details of session are indexed in the brochure.

Taking into consideration your long experience in the field of forestry, I request you to kindly present a paper in any one of the session on a topic as convenient to the themes.

1. Renewing agricultural & Forest productivity through natural farming and Genetic resource conservation.

2. Innovations in conservation of wetland ecosystems and water rich habitats.

3. Harnessing youth strength and women power for natural resource management and healthy rural life.

4. Biodiversity Conservation- utilization for livelihoods & Economic Evaluation.

5. Environment/climate change, Policy and legal initiatives for achievement of Sustainable Development Goal.

I request you to kindly send abstract of the paper before 30 th September 2019 through email: oiscagyf2019@gmail.com. I also request you to kindly inform your colleagues and students to register and participate in the International Conference. We except around 600 national and international delegates to participate. Your presence and experience sharing will add immense value to the International conference.
